Recently opened at Quebra Costas, in downtown Coimbra, a beautifully decorated artisanal chocolate shop: “Chocolataria Equador”. This speciality shop is distinguished for being “independent of the massive worldwide chain of cocoa beans commercialization” because it works to “recover the international prestige of cocoa from São Tomé and Príncipe as excellence cocoa“.
Working with cocoa since its origin, “Equador” offers unique gastronomic experiences, appealing to the senses and arousing emotions. More than a business, “Equador” defines itself as an experience.
It is difficult to choose what to take home with us or what to choose as a gift, among the chocolate tablets, chocolates, truffles, chocolate lollipops, parasols, macarons and other delights. To accompany, you can always choose a “ginja”, coffee or the traditional Port wine.
