“Briosa“, located in “Largo da Portagem” in the heart of downtown, is one of the oldest and most renowned pastrie shops in Coimbra. Since 1955 it offers traditional and tasty products, including convental confectionery always appreciated by visitors. “Arrufada de Coimbra”, “Castanhas de Ovos”, “Pastéis de Santa Clara”, “Natas da Briosa” and the famous “Suspiros” are some of the most craved delicacies. “Briosa” is therefore one of the obligatory stops for those who visit our town and for those who want to know better the gastronomic heritage of Coimbra. The novelty is that this December, Briosa has reopened after a remodeling of the space. “Briosa” is now an even more pleasant pastry shop that offers comfort and invites who pass to sit and relax while enjoying “a trip for the palates over the sweetest flavors of the region.” Hours: Monday to Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
