This month we suggest that you take some time to witness one of the most fun traditions of Coimbra: the Latada’s parade. This is the celebration that welcomes the freshmen to the University of Coimbra every year, usually in October.
This year the parade – a huge event that happens in the city’s historical center – takes place on 19th October. However, you can also have fun at night and attend the famous live music shows. Once again, the Praça da Canção, by the river, hosts the Latada nights from 15th to 19th October.
