It was in December 2023 that “Noster Taberna & Wine Bar” opened its doors on one of the most iconic streets in downtown Coimbra, “Rua Martins de Carvalho” better known as “Rua das Figueirinhas”. Number 28 is now a small, modern and welcoming tavern that contrasts and brings new life to the Street where a few of the oldest traders in “Baixa“, from the most varied areas, remain.
Maria Rebelo, one of the project’s promoters, despite being from Aveiro, showcases her passion for Portuguese Wines and Hospitality through Noster, in Coimbra, the city that she loves. It is there that she intends to provide pleasant and long moments of conviviality for families and friends who enjoy appreciating a good wine while eating some snacks and catching up on conversation.
In addition to National Wines, with emphasis on the Bairrada, Dão and Beiras region, Noster offers Craft Beers, Sodas and Kombuchas. We now entice your appetite with snack suggestions: “Rotos Eggs by Noster“, “Roasted Chouriça“, “Veal Pica Pau“, Roasted Tomato with Rabaçal Cheese, Lupine and Ham Pesto and Potato Pancake Stuffed with Mushrooms, Spinach and Cheese, among others. The snacks may vary according to the time of year, but it is almost certain that the “Traditional Caldo Verde” soup will never leave the menu.
