Felice Jeva, originally from Italy but “in love” with the world, has had businesses in different countries. In 2017, because of his passion for surfing, he came on vacation to Portugal. But “life had other plans for him” and, enchanted by the country, he decided to “sell everything” and settle down here.
He opened the “Italianino restaurant”, with typical Italian food, in “Praia da Tocha – Cantanhede”, where he lives. Later, in January 2020, he opened “Italianino” in one of the most emblematic and characteristic areas of Coimbra: Sé Velha.
In a small and familiar space, the Italian Chef offers the city a journey through Italian gastronomy. With a limited offering, because the priority is quality and not quantity, the Menu is made up of artisanal pizzas and fresh pasta. What distinguishes them, in addition to the Mastery of the Chef, are the products used in confeccion: the pasta is made with flour from an ancient and natural Italian grain and most of the products “from the garden”, fresh and seasonal, are grown by the Chef himself who literally lives between “land and sea”. The Menu also offers vegan options and this restaurant is where you’ll taste the best tiramisu.
Felice considers food a “serious matter” and welcomes customers with a good mood, joy and friendliness inherent to his charismatic personality. In Italianino we feel “at home” but in an “Italian house” in one of the most beautiful areas of Coimbra!
