September is a magical month in Coimbra. The city hosts the traditional event Magical Gatherings – Encontros Mágicos. This month we suggest that you visit the historical city center between 15th and 20th September to watch the street performances, starring Portuguese and international magicians, that will be happening across the city.
This is the 19th edition of the festival, the oldest event of its kind in Portugal, which allows locals and visitors to find out more about the world of magic in the streets of Coimbra.
