On the lower corner of “Rua Visconde da Luz” the elegant “Pastelaria Visconde” increasingly sweetens the downtown of Coimbra. A cozy and welcoming two-storey space will highlight the offer of a great diversity of mouth watering options, several famous local conventual pastries stand-out (Pastéis e Queijadas of Tentúgal, “Osteas Conventuais”, “Rosas da Rainha”, “Ovos Moles”, Pastéis of Santa Clara), among a wide spread of bakery products, light meals, artisanal ice cream and “crepe” shop. All the products are of their own production for excellent quality.
Also worthy of mention are the exclusive pastries of this Pastelaria, which can and should only be enjoyed here: “Delícia Visconde” made with eggs, walnut and orange juice, and the “Fatia Visconde” made with walnut, egg and egg yolks. Visconde Pastry also serves meals at lunch and you can opt for the daily suggestions or choose à la carte. Hours: every day from 07:00 to 22:00. In summer the schedule will be extended until 00:00.
